Great heat protection! They are thick so you lose some dexterity but you don’t lose any skin!
I have been eyeing a pair of heat glove like these for some time. I am glad I purchased theses gloves when we purchased our Big Green Egg. I can change the greats with feeling any heat. The gloves are soft inside and comfortable to ware.
My husband loves the gloves! He uses them with the smoker. But as other folks mentioned when you first open the package the chemical smell is pretty strong. I left the gloves outside in the fresh air a few days and now they are fine
Bought these specifically for use in frying turkey. Zero complaints. They’re comfortable, easy for gripping, and couldn’t feel any heat from the oil.
This is a very versatile grill glove. It works well in many different cooking mediums. I personally use them for smoking, grilling, and frying turkeys. The non slip coating on the exterior is ideal, providing a non slip surface when working with utensils and different types of food. They are lined with a soft fleece like material giving extra comfort during use and added insulation to protect against the heat generated during cooking. I would recommend this glove for anyone from your weekend warrior to the professional smoker.
